Our loss is your gain – we are closing out some kayaks. MSRP $1099. On sale at close out price of $899.00. Stop in and see this great kayak in person or buy it now in our online store.  Delivery in Michigan possible.

Here is a quote from a review from the westroke.com Blog:

“Looking for a good playboat that can get you down a pretty serious river, surf and throw loops as well? If so, you should definitely demo a  Liquid Logic Freeride. Here is my take on the 57 model.”

“To give some perspective, let me first give you some specs. I’m 6’1″ and around 175lbs with size 11 feet. Because of this, I opted to go with the Freeride 57. The 57 has of course, 57 gallons of volume and is 6’6″ in length. Liquid Logic also makes a 67, which is 6’9″ and 67 gallons. ”

Sold!

Thank you Shellie Charboneau for purchasing this awesome kayak.

Save $600 on this 14′ Sea Kayak. We custom ordered this sea kayak in a high volume to accommodate the 6′-8″ frame of BrassWind Landing co-owner, Richard Lincoln.  It even fits his size 13 shoes – but his 38″ inseam just makes it hard for him to get in and out. This boat is perfect for anyone from 6′ to 6’5″. Our loss is your gain. It’s time for us to sell this one and build a wood boat to fit Lincoln.

You may stop in to demo and purchase the boat or buy it online and pick it up later.  This one will go fast at this price. MSRP is $2199. We are selling it out at $1600!

Geo Cache and Kayak Paddling Event Friday May 23rd 5:00-7:00pm

Kayaking and Geocaching Adventure with Sheree Lincoln.  Local geocaching enthusiast Jim Chimner of Straits Area Geocachers Club will have set up hidden geocaches along the Indian River and the Little Sturgeon River near Marina Park for this special paddling event. The Launch site for this event is DeVoe Beach on Burt Lake. The 18 GeoCaches added for this event will remain in place long after the kayaking event – for your geocaching enjoyment!

Weather permitting we will be heading into the Indian River from Burt Lake and paddling down river to the confluence of the Indian River and the Little Sturgeon River (past the Straits Highway Bridges near Marina Park). There will be geocaches that can be reached from land so anyone who wishes to participate without kayaking still can! If there is a lot of wind on the lake or snow in the parking lot we will proceed to an alternate launch site around the corner and head directly into the river.

After we find caches we will be paddling back up the Indian River to the launch site on DeVoe Beach on Burt Lake. If you are bringing your own kayak please meet at the launch site at 5:00 pm. If you are renting a kayak from BrassWind Landing Boat Rental then please meet at 6240 Mack Avenue, Indian River, MI 49749. EarthWeek special kayak rental fee is $15.00. To learn more about geocaching please visit www.geocaching.com or the Straits Area Geo Caching Club’s website at www.geo-cachers.com/ For details or kayak reservations, contact Sheree Lincoln at 231-238-4843 or email her at info@artsandadventure.com.
