Lake & River Kayaks

At Arts and Adventure Paddlesports we have Sales & Rentals of Polycarbonate sit in kayaks, Fiberglass Composites and wood boats. Demo before you plan to buy a kayak. We carry Liquid Logic Remix XP’s which is great fast water river kayak that you can still use on the Lake. Perfect for a trip down the Sturgeon River and out onto Burt Lake for a little Paddling over to the State Park if you are camping or to the City Beach, also known as DeVoe Beach where we can pick you up after your trip with us. These boats also great if you live on a river or want a boat to use on trips around the country where you need a mixed use kayak to do everything you know you will enjoy on your trip.

One of our other featured sit in kayaks is the Native Watercraft Marvel and the Ultimate which is also available as the Ultimate Angler for fishing. The Ultimate Angler is a great fishing kayak that you can sit it, hang your feet over the side or even stand up in. It comes with an anchor system, mounted on the side of the boat, that lets you get into just the right position with the current or wind for perfect fishing. The Sturgeon River is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, Burt Lake and Mullet Lake are great fishing for Walleye, Blue Gills, Bass, and more. The reed beds out on the Mullet Lake Spreads, where the Indian River runs towards Mullett Lake, offer some of the best fishing in Northern Michigan.
